We are excited to host a one-day Summer Parking Lot Bash for both our church family and the community! The event will include food, games, crafts, and lots of fun, all centered around sharing the Gospel and teaching about God’s love at each station.

Reminder that this Sunday is Move Up Sunday for our forKids and Propel Middle students! If your child will be entering one of the grade levels listed below this fall, they will move up to their new classroom.

Our forKids and Propel Middle Student Choir will be singing during our worship service on Sunday, July 26th! This opportunity is open to all students from Kindergarten through middle school. Practices will take place on July 12th and July 19th immediately following the service in the new Propel room. If your child would like to participate, be sure to sign up today!

If you’re new to Forward Church, we’d love to invite you to Lunch with the Leaders following the service on Sunday, June 14th! This is a great opportunity to meet our church leaders and make connections with others who are new in the church as well. Lunch and childcare will be provided. Space is limited to 20 people, so be sure to register soon!

The Propel Middle & High School Ministry will take a break from weekly meetings at the church for the summer. Students, be sure to invite your friends and join us for all of our fun summer events!

Merge Young Adults

If you’re a young adult (ages 18–29) looking for encouraging community and solid biblical teaching, we’d love to invite you to join us as we gather every other Monday evening at the church. Dinner is always provided at 6:30 PM, and our Bible study begins at 7:00 PM. Our next gathering will be Monday, June 15th.

We’ll be taking a summer break during the month of July, but we’d still love to connect! Join us on Monday, July 6th at 7:00 PM at Graeter’s on Charlestown Road for ice cream or coffee. We’d love to treat you to ice cream or grab you a coffee from Coffee Crossing!

Women of Forward, the fall retreat has sold out! HOWEVER, we’ve added one more cabin with just a few spots left, which means this is your VERY last chance to sign up!

We will gather at Cliffview Resort in Natural Bridge, Kentucky—a beautiful setting for a refreshing and meaningful weekend together. This year’s theme is “This Is My Story”. The retreat goes from Thursday, November 5th at 7PM through Saturday, November 7th at 3PM.

We are currently looking for volunteers who would be willing to come alongside our church family during life’s challenges and celebrations by sharing the love of Jesus in practical ways. Opportunities to serve include providing meals through MealTrain, visiting those who are sick at home or in the hospital, offering support during times of loss, and other care ministry needs.

Women of Forward – share the Love of Christ  – serve at The Breakaway Recovery House

Join us once a month as we share a meal and the love of Christ with the ladies residing at The Breakaway Recovery House, our neighbors just across the alley from Forward Church. Our goal is to make these women feel welcomed, valued, and invited to worship with us if they don’t have a church home.

Volunteers from Forward Church will prepare a meal and/or spend time in fellowship with the residents. Women of Forward, if you’d like to help or learn more, please contact Tonia Hatfield at Hatfield912@gmail.com.

The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.

In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
