TOMORROW is our Fall Family Fun Day, Saturday, October 25th!! Today is the last day to SIGN UP to let us know your coming!!! The signup is for food planning purposes. Our fun day starts at 2:00pm with dinner at 5:00pm.Reminder that we will meet at the REMC building in Sellersburg out back by the lake. The address is 7810 IN-60, Sellersburg. Bring the whole family, a dessert if you’d like, and join us for a barbeque cook-off, games, and fall activities for all ages.

 

Forward Church Family, mark your calendars!

We’re excited to invite you to a special Worship Night on Sunday, November 16th, from 6:30 to 8:00 PM right here at the church.

Bring the whole family and join us as we live out one of our core identities here at Forward — We are Worshippers. This will be a powerful evening of praise, prayer, and seeking God together as a church family.

Please note — this is a family worship gathering, so childcare will only be provided for 3 years old and under. We encourage everyone of all ages to come and experience worship together.

Women of Forward, we are so excited that so many of you are joining us for this year’s fall retreat! Here at the details for this year’s retreat:

Start time: Thursday, November 6th. First session begins 7pm
End time: Saturday, November 8th @ 3pm
Location: New Harmony Inn Resort & Conference Center
504 North Street
New Harmony, IN, 47631
Arrival details: You may arrive at the conference center any time after 5pm to sign in and get situated in your room. If you have the opportunity, come out earlier in the day and stop to see the historical sites around town.

Share the Love of Christ – Serve at The Breakaway Recovery House

Join us once a month as we share a meal and the love of Christ with the ladies residing at The Breakaway Recovery House, our neighbors just across the alley from Forward Church. Our goal is to make these women feel welcomed, valued, and invited to worship with us if they don’t have a church home.

Volunteers from Forward Church will prepare a meal and/or spend time in fellowship with the residents. Women of Forward, if you’d like to help or learn more, please contact Tonia Hatfield at Hatfield912@gmail.com.

Our Tuesday evening Men’s Group is a time to dive into God’s Word, grow in faith, and build lasting friendships with other godly men.

You’re welcome to jump in any time; no sign-up required! The group meets every Tuesday at 6:30 PM right here at the church.

The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.

In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
