Women of Forward join us for Game Night NEXT Friday, March 27th. It’s a great opportunity for a fun evening of laughter, fellowship, and connection.

To the ladies of Forward, we’re excited to bring back a crowd favorite — our Ladies Tea! This year we’re hosting it in the spring instead of at Christmas. Our Spring Tea will take place on Friday, May 8, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

We’ll begin registration and collecting payments for the tea in the next couple of weeks, so be watching for more details. We hope you’ll plan to join us for a wonderful evening of fellowship! 🌸🫖

If you’d be interested in decorating a table for this event, please plan to attend a short meeting after our worship service on Sunday, March 29th.

Serving is one way that we can ‘Be the Church.’ We believe that serving is both a privilege and an act of worship. Volunteering is an opportunity to share our gifts with others. It is a chance to become more like Jesus.

Share the Love of Christ – Serve at The Breakaway Recovery House

Join us once a month as we share a meal and the love of Christ with the ladies residing at The Breakaway Recovery House, our neighbors just across the alley from Forward Church. Our goal is to make these women feel welcomed, valued, and invited to worship with us if they don’t have a church home.

Volunteers from Forward Church will prepare a meal and/or spend time in fellowship with the residents. Women of Forward, if you’d like to help or learn more, please contact Tonia Hatfield at Hatfield912@gmail.com.

We’re excited and needing to grow our Tech Ministry and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our in-house and online sound team!

Even if you only have minimal experience, we will provide hands-on training to help you develop the skills needed to achieve the “Forward Sound”. A clear, powerful, and worship-focused audio experience that supports every moment of our services.

If you have a heart to serve, an interest in sound or technology, and a desire to grow, we’d love to have you on the team. This is a great opportunity to learn, serve, build community, and make a meaningful impact behind the scenes.

Volunteer Opportunity: White Flag Shelter

You can bless our community by volunteering with Southern Indiana’s White Flag Shelter—an emergency overnight shelter that opens its doors when temperatures drop below 35 degrees. The shelter operates from November 15 through April 15.

There are many ways to serve, including helping with dinner, laundry service, preparing bedding, and—most importantly—building relationships with guests.

Propel Youth Ministry

Propel families, we’ll be taking a one-week break—there will be NO PROPEL this Wednesday, March 25th. Enjoy your spring break, and we can’t wait to see you back on Wednesday, April 1st!

Merge Young Adults

If you are a young adult (age 18-29) and looking for encouraging community and solid Biblical teaching, then we invite you to join us as we gather every other Monday evening at the church. Dinner is always provided at 6:30pm and our Bible study begins at 7pm. Our next gathering is Monday, March 27th. Look us up on Stack Team app – Merge@Forward.

The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.

In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
