Women if you signed up to attend the Fall Women’s Retreat, we hope you’re getting excited for an amazing time of growing in your faith and fellowship with other women in the church!
We have proposed room set ups that you can check out at the Welcome Center this Sunday. Also, the trip cost is going to be $110 with payments due by August 20th. You can make payments in full at the Welcome Center or you can get with Lisa at lisa@forwardchurchfamily.com to make other payment arrangements.
We are partnering with CrossRoads Mission for a mission trip to Eastern Kentucky this fall. Eastern Kentucky has experienced record flooding the last three years and there is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people by reaching out with the love of Christ.
The trip will be October 18-21 with a cost of $250/person. The cost will include lodging, food and project money. If you are interested in going on this trip please sign up at the Welcome Center.
Second Thursday of every month we will have a House of Prayer night from 7:00-8:30!
Come ready to pray through guided prayer stations for our church family, community, nation, and world.

On Saturday, August 5th starting at 9:00 am, there will be a Men of Forward Disc Golf Tournament out at Buffalo Trace! You do not need to be a serious disc golfer to compete. This is just a fun time with prizes, food and fellowship. Even if you don’t want to compete, you can come hang out and watch!
There will be discs available for those who need them.

Fortify is a men’s prayer group that meets Monday nights at 6:30 at the church. Join them any Monday night as they pray for our church, leadership, members, and each other.

Men of Forward Tuesday morning Bible Study. Meeting at Coffee Crossing in downtown New Albany from 7:00-8:00 and studying through the book of James. Join them any Tuesday morning.

Chest Of Joash
The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.
In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
