The ladies of Forward had a fun time this past Saturday at Game Day. There was a group Fishbowl game followed by small group game time. If you didn’t get to make it to this event, don’t worry, we have many more fun things for the Women of Forward going on the calendar! So keep checking in!

For our March into Fun! this Sunday is CRAZY HAIR DAY in our forKids ministry! All kids and volunteers, go crazy and colorful on your hair! Can’t wait to see how creative you can get!! See you Sunday.

Forward Church Family, Easter is right around the corner and we hope you will make plans to join us for our Good Friday worship service, as well as our Sunday Easter service. This is a great time to invite your family and friends as people are more open to try out a church service at Easter time.

So join us on Good Friday, at 7pm here at the church, as we look upon the cross and remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us. And then come back on Easter Sunday at 10:30am for a joyful celebration of the resurrection of our savior Jesus Christ!

On Saturday, March 23rd from 2:00-4:00pm, join us for Easter Jam! This will be a forKids family event where we will have games, activities, and prizes, celebrating that Jesus is alive! Let us know you’re planning to come by registering using the link below.

Also, if you would like to help out by donating candy or other prizes, please bring these items to the church by Sunday, March 17th.

Our next Breakaway meal will be Sunday, March 24th. We need around 5 women to help provide a meal and come out to visit with the women in the home for a couple of hours. This is a great opportunity to serve the ladies literally in our backyard. For questions, text or call Tonia Hatfield (phone number provided at the Welcome Center). You can sign up there today.

Women of Forward, mark your calendars for our upcoming Women’s Retreat. This event will take place here at Forward Church on Saturday, April 27, from 9am-3pm.

For this one day retreat, we will be focusing on what faithfulness looks like in marriage, parenting, workplaces, the community, and much more. There will be worship, multiple speakers, a panel of couples, breakout sessions, game time, and lots of food! The cost of the event is $10. Click on the link below or scan the QR code to register.

Chest Of Joash

The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.

In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”

A huge THANK YOU to all of you who have joyfully donated just as the Israelite officials and people did!

You can give to the Chest of Joash by clicking the button below and selecting “Chest of Joash” in the drop down menu.
