Tonight we prepare our hearts for Easter with a special service in which we will look upon the cross and remember the sacrifice Jesus made for us. We hope you will make time to join us for our Good Friday worship service at 7pm here at the church.
Last Saturday was a sweet time of celebrating with our Forward families at the Easter Jam event. Brittany taught the forKids the story of Jesus’ life, burial and resurrection using a giant egg story poster, that each child got to take home. There was also an egg hunt, cookie decorating station, cross necklace making station, and games. It was a fun afternoon! We thank all those who came out and all of our wonderful volunteers for helping.
Join us Easter Sunday at 10:30am for a joyful celebration of the resurrection of our savior Jesus Christ! Easter is a great time to invite your family and friends to join you for church, as they are more open to try a church service during this holiday.
Men of Forward, mark your calendars for Saturday, April 13th from 9-noon for our Men’s Pancake Breakfast, devotion, and workday. This will be a great opportunity for you to connect and get to know other men in the church. Sign up this Sunday at the Welcome Center and let us know you are coming!

Sunday School class is every Sunday beginning at 9am in the classroom behind the Worship Center. We are currently studying verse-by-verse through Revelation, chapters 1-3. All are welcome to join in any Sunday. Contact Dave Hollander at dgchollander@yahoo.com for more info or questions.
All men of Forward are invited to join in Tuesday mornings for Bible study. Meeting at Coffee Crossing in downtown New Albany from 7:00-8:00am, the men will be studying through the book of Proverbs.

Chest Of Joash
The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.
In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
