Starting Sunday April 28th, the Sunday School Class will begin a 4 week video/discussion series called “When Suffering Enters Your Door” by Paul Tripp.

Suffering is universal and hardships are common. In the midst of suffering where do we turn? Does God see? Does God care? How can He let all this happen to us? In this study we will learn reasons for suffering, how we should respond to suffering, what we should be alert to, learning to renew our hope, courage and endurance, while equipping us to face our sufferings and assist others who also suffer.

Join us for this upcoming study or come any week to our ongoing Sunday School classes. We meet from 9-10am in the classroom behind the Worship Center. For any questions, reach out to Dave Hollander at dgchollander@yahoo.com.

WOF One Day Retreat

Men of Forward, registration is open for our Men’s Overnight Retreat! We have booked space at Wonder Valley Camp in Salem, IN for Friday and Saturday, May 3rd-4th.

This will be a great time of connecting with other men of Forward. We will have a very cool worship time planned. Plus there will be trusted speakers, games, grilling and a campfire.

You can sign up NOW by using the QR code below. The charge is only $35! We have 48 spots available, but don’t wait too long because you are not going to want to be left out of this one!

Our next Breakaway Meal is Sunday evening, May 5th. We will need around 5 women to help provide a meal and come out to visit with the women in the Breakaway home for a couple of hours. This is a great opportunity to serve the ladies literally in our backyard. For questions, text or call Tonia Hatfield (phone number provided at the Welcome Center). Sign up this Sunday if you are able to help.

Family Dedication is a special day in the life of Forward as families stand before the congregation and dedicate their children and family to a Christ-centered life. Promising to lead their families and raise their children in ways that honor and glorify God.

If you have children that you haven’t had dedicated yet, you will have the opportunity to do so during service on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12th!

You can register by scanning the QR code at the Welcome Center on Sunday mornings. The last day to register will be Sunday, May 5th.

If you have any questions, you can contact Brittany Blanton at brittany@forwardchurchfamily.com

All men of Forward are invited to join in Tuesday mornings for Bible study. Meeting at Coffee Crossing in downtown New Albany from 7:00-8:00am, the men will be studying through the book of Proverbs.

Chest Of Joash

The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.

In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”

A huge THANK YOU to all of you who have joyfully donated just as the Israelite officials and people did!

You can give to the Chest of Joash by clicking the button below and selecting “Chest of Joash” in the drop down menu.
