Summer Parking Lot Bash TOMORROW!! 🎒
Due to the forecasted rain, tomorrow’s Summer Parking Lot Bash will be moved indoors at Forward Church.
Volunteers are asked to arrive by 10:15 AM for a brief meeting and time of prayer before the event begins. We can’t wait to see everyone from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM for a fun-filled day as we learn that “Jesus Is the Light!” All games, crafts, activities, and Gospel lessons will take place inside the church, so the fun will continue rain or shine!

Propel Student Baptisms
We are praising God that following the Forward Conference trip, five Propel students publicly declared their faith in Jesus by following Him in baptism!
Congratulations to Jared Prakash and Ben, Elsie, Maren & Hattie Paris!!
What an incredible reminder that God is continuing to change lives, and we rejoice with these students as they take this important next step in their walk with Christ.
ReEngage Marriage Course
We are thrilled to announce that Re|Engage Marriage Ministry is coming to Forward Church!
Re|Engage is all about relationships. Our goal is to help you grow in your relationship with your spouse, with other couples, and with God. Together, you’ll discover God’s design for marriage and learn practical, biblical principles for building a healthy, Christ-centered relationship.
Re|Engage is a 15 week course which begins Sunday, August 23, and meets here at the church Sunday evenings from 5:00–6:30 PM through November 29.
Spots will be limited, so please sign up today. Childcare is provided with registration. We’d love for you to join us!
Bloom Brunch 65+ Ladies
The Bloom Brunch was a huge success!
We gathered to celebrate the incredible matriarchs of our church—women whose faith, wisdom, prayers, and steadfast love have shaped generations. It was a joy to honor them, encourage them, and remind them how deeply they are loved and appreciated.
Rachel McWhirter shared a beautiful reminder: “Your influence doesn’t retire—it ripens,” encouraging these remarkable women to continue investing in and inspiring the generations to come.
To each of our matriarchs, thank you for your strength, sacrifice, guidance, and faithful example. We are so grateful for the lasting impact you’ve made on our church family.
Propel Ministry
What a great night at Soar N Bounce! Fifty-three jumpers came out for an evening of fun, connection, and building friendships. We love seeing our students growing together in community!

WOF Progressive Dinner
Women of Forward, you’re invited to join us for our Progressive Dinner on Friday, July 24th at 6PM!
We’ll begin the night together at the church before carpooling to different homes of our church family for each course of the meal—appetizers, salad, dinner, and dessert.
This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, deepen relationships, and build community together in Christ. We can’t wait to share this special evening with you. Make sure to sign up ASAP, so that our hostesses know how much food to prepare.
ForKids & Propel Choir
Our forKids and Propel Student Ministry Choir will be singing during our worship service on Sunday, July 26th. Practices are this Sunday, July 12th and next Sunday, July 19th, immediately following the service.
WOF Fall Retreat
Ladies, if you’re attending this year’s Women’s Retreat, please send us your roommate preferences by this Wednesday, July 15th to Lisa at lisa@forwardchruchfamily.com. Volunteer Opportunity
Breakaway Recovery House
Women of Forward join us once a month as we share a meal and the love of Christ with the ladies residing at The Breakaway Recovery House, our neighbors just across the alley from Forward Church. Our goal is to make these women feel welcomed, valued, and invited to worship with us if they don’t have a church home.
Volunteers from Forward Church will prepare a meal and/or spend time in fellowship with the residents. Women of Forward, if you’d like to help or learn more, please contact Tonia Hatfield at Hatfield912@gmail.com.

WOF T2 Groups!
Women of Forward T2 Groups are for women ages 30 to 49 who want to grow in Christ, build meaningful relationships, and encourage one another through different seasons of life.
Inspired by Titus 2, these groups bring women together for biblical discipleship, honest conversation, and true community. Women will learn from and encourage one another as they seek to live out their faith in everyday life.

We invite those who feel called to serve our church family in both life’s challenges and celebrations by sharing the love of Jesus in practical, tangible ways through care and support. You can get involved in the following ways:

Chest of Joash
The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.
In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
