Parking Lot Bash Food Donations DUE THIS SUNDAY!! 🎒

Help us fill backpacks with food for children attending our Summer Parking Lot Bash! Our prayer is that every child leaves knowing the love of Jesus and with a backpack of food to help support them throughout the summer.

Please donate items similar to those listed above, and make sure all donations are nut-free for the safety of every child.

This Sunday, July 5th, is the final day to bring donations. You may drop your items off at the Welcome Desk this Sunday. Thank you for helping us share the love of Christ in both word and deed!

Summer Parking Lot Bash – Volunteers Needed

We’re looking for volunteers to serve in:

Merge Young Adults

Young Adults (ages 18–29), join us Monday, July 6th at 7:00 PM at Graeter’s on Charlestown Road! We’ll treat you to an ice cream from Graeter’s or a coffee from Coffee Crossing—come hang out, connect with friends, and bring someone with you. We’d love to see you there!

Propel Students, don’t miss Soar N Bounce on Wednesday, July 8th, from 6:30–8:30 PM! It’s going to be a fun night together!

Our forKids and Propel Student Ministry Choir will be singing during our worship service on Sunday, July 26th. This opportunity is open to all students from Kindergarten through high school. Practices will take place next Sunday on July 12th and the following Sunday, July 19th, immediately following the service in the new Propel room. If your child would like to participate, be sure to sign up today!

Women of Forward, you’re invited to join us for our Progressive Dinner on Friday, July 24th at 6PM!

We’ll begin the night together at the church before carpooling to different homes of our church family for each course of the meal—appetizers, salad, dinner, and dessert.

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new friends, deepen relationships, and build community together in Christ. We can’t wait to share this special evening with you. Make sure to sign up ASAP, so that our hostesses know how much food to prepare. ** Space is limited to 40 participants.

Breakaway Recovery House

Women of Forward join us once a month as we share a meal and the love of Christ with the ladies residing at The Breakaway Recovery House, our neighbors just across the alley from Forward Church. Our goal is to make these women feel welcomed, valued, and invited to worship with us if they don’t have a church home.

Volunteers from Forward Church will prepare a meal and/or spend time in fellowship with the residents. Women of Forward, if you’d like to help or learn more, please contact Tonia Hatfield at Hatfield912@gmail.com.

Women of Forward T2 Groups are for women ages 30 to 49 who want to grow in Christ, build meaningful relationships, and encourage one another through different seasons of life.

Inspired by Titus 2, these groups bring women together for biblical discipleship, honest conversation, and true community. Women will learn from and encourage one another as they seek to live out their faith in everyday life.

Care Ministry – Volunteer Opportunity
We invite those who feel called to serve our church family in both life’s challenges and celebrations by sharing the love of Jesus in practical, tangible ways through care and support. You can get involved in the following ways:

• Provide meals through MealTrain
• Visit those who are sick at home or in the hospital
• Offer support during times of loss and grief
• Help meet other care needs within our church family

The Chest of Joash provides an opportunity to give above and beyond the normal tithe. The money from it goes directly to work needed done on our building.

In 2 Chronicles 24 we find Joash repairing the temple and a chest was set outside of it for people to bring a tithe that was used to pay the workers restoring the temple. Verse 10 says, “And all the princes and all the people rejoiced and brought their tax and dropped it into the chest until they had finished.”
